The next chapter of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is upon us! Activision has officially dropped the Season 4 Story Cinematic Trailer, kicking off an intense new narrative arc that sees the return of a familiar and dangerous foe: Vikhor “Stitch” Kuzmin.
The cinematic, released just yesterday, sets a dramatic stage for the upcoming season, which is slated to begin on May 29, 2025. In a stunning turn of events, Stitch, previously imprisoned, is sprung from a maximum-security black site by none other than his old adversary, Russell Adler. This forced alliance, between two characters with a deep and bitter history, is born out of necessity to confront a looming, larger threat and unmask “Pantheon moles.”
The trailer dives into the complicated backstory of Stitch, revealing his origins in the Soviet Union, his work with Nova 6 gas on Rebirth Island under the infamous Colonel Kravchenko, and his eventual capture by Adler. The rivalry, cemented by Adler gouging out Stitch’s eye, has defined much of their past. Now, they must put their differences aside for a common goal.
Fans can expect the narrative to pick up threads from previous Black Ops installments, delving into the ongoing Cold War espionage and the shadowy organization known as Perseus. The cinematic promises intense new missions as players work to uncover Stitch’s latest plot and stop him before it’s too late.
